Basicly they only keep it alive to milk the last drops out of it from the VERY small playerbase which is a dark shadow from the good times as it was new and basicly EVERY REGION SERVER was FULL. the main dev left it already YEARS ago and pretty much since SK is hanging on life support.

As it was new, i would sure have recomment you but since SEGA had their fingers on the game and basicly left it milked out in the hands of those grey guys, the game is pretty much dead. I plyes SK for a long time years go, i really speak here out of experience. same and overused events from last year which were the same the year before and THAT year before, the market prices for energie are BROKEN AF (at my time, 100 energie was about 5200~ Ingame money, NOW check them out.), and the DLC? yes its only ONE dungeon, nothing more and beating it 9 times? if you do it 1-2 times in the HARD mode is all you NEED to get the most powerful stuff out of it - anything else is pretty much a waste in and on it.

No new big updates, just "priceboxes" updates for the most time. Spiral knight was the reason why i get to MS2. you are encouraged to beat the DLC dungeon 9 times just to get every reward it offers. if you start getting bored of Spiral Knights after beating all the free content buy the DLC for $4.99, it gives you a special new dungeon and boss with gear rewards you can't get anywhere else in the game. the story content is good and interesting, designing a guild hall is a lot like designing a home in MS2, and even if you beat all the story Arcade Mode in random groups is fun. sadly SK is basically retired now but if someone has never played it I strongly recommend it. Originally posted by Enrlich Hartman:i have fun playing spiral knights in some events, its more focused on combat, is a little more monetised but i like itĪgreed, Spiral Knight is a lot of fun and it kind of gives a similar feel to MS2 in some ways.
